 To move forward on this, can you look at the actual log files on disk (in
 ~/.purple/logs) and see if the logs were *written* to the wrong place? In
 other words, did an ICQ log get written to Yahoo or is the ICQ log written
 to the right place but showing up in the GUI with the Yahoo buddy?

 Either way, would you be willing to email (to rlaager at wiktel.com) your
 ~/.purple/blist.xml file?
