 There are a couple of existing tickets about wallpaper changing software
 causing unbounded memory growth, the issue is somewhere in GTK+ I believe
 and I don't think we know much more about it. It is interesting that a
 manual change does not cause this problem, it would be interesting to have
 someone who knows how the wallpaper changing software involved here does
 what it does and how that differs from what the display properties dialog
 does it.
