 trying to speed along the process i took a peek at libpurple code and some
 MSN protocal docs, it seems that in libpurple/protocols/msn/msg.c in
 function msn_message_new_plain there's the following line:

 {{{
 msn_message_set_attr(msg, "X-MMS-IM-Format", "FN=MS%20Sans%20Serif; EF=;
 CO=0; CS=86;PF=0");
 }}}

 i'm guessing that's the function pidgin is using to send text messages
 trough msn, meaning font is preaty much hardcoded...
