 Please correct me if I didn't follow your info. I dig into the code of
 purple_account_request_authorization that is called when purple received
 "add buddy request" from remote user. However, it is not used for the
 local user trying to "request add a buddy" with a "Invitation message". My
 question is how to send the "Invitation Message" from local user when
 adding a new buddy.

 I also checked the UI part of Pidgin, it did not have a "Message" field in
 Add Buddy dailog to let local user input message for remote user recognize
 who has wants to add him or her to buddy list. Am I right?
