 XEP-0186 support is pretty useless, as no server currently implements
 that.

 What's in active use and does not break the core RFC (unlike
 type='invisible') is to use privacy lists for invisibility. Every server
 supports that and nearly every client supports it either - I don't see why
 Pidgin should be an exception here. Plus we would FINALLY have a working
 Privacy Dialog for XMPP. It's a shame to have privacy lists for
 proprietary garbage like ICQ, but not for XMPP.

 For XEP-0018: Stay the hell away from it! It breaks the core RFC and thus
 has been rejected!
