 I think we need to figure out why messages to at least some of these
 buddies on my list are going into a black hole. If it's possible to
 exclude them, then we'll only be showing buddies that are really expecting
 mobile messages, so I don't see a problem. If it's not, then we need to
 either stop showing these entirely or hide them by default.
