 I initially raised this issue on #pidgin and was told that it's a Trac
 issue.

 I raised Trac ticket http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/7581 and after a bit
 of investigation Trac developers assure me this is an issue with the
 Pidgin instance of Trac.

 In summary...

 When I comment on a ticket this text is present just above the text area:

     Updating the ticket will permanently add you to the cc list.

 Apparently Trac does not put that there - they believe it's added by
 Pidgin people (either as plaintext or via some plugin).

 My actual issue is this: I add comments to tickets and want to search for
 those tickets.

 The search page (http://developer.pidgin.im/search) does not find text
 such as "ago by bernmeister" which would allow me to find such tickets
 (all of them).

 The View Tickets page (http://developer.pidgin.im/query) allows me to
 search the Cc field...but by simply commenting on a ticket does NOT add me
 to that ticket.

 Could someone please look into this as I'd like to search for the tickets
 I've touched (for the ones that are still new and not owned)?
