Comment:

 The Bonjour plugin is just another protocol plugin used for communicating
 with people on your local network, so it is installed by default.  It
 doesn't do very much unless you have Apple Bonjour installed on your
 system.

 Clearly it was the Bonjour plugin that was hanging - the unknown part is
 "Why?".  There haven't been any other reports of this, which means that
 there is something different about your system.

 My best guess is still that some other program installed a corrupted Apple
 Bonjour on your system (hence my suggestion to see if installing Apple
 Bonjour fixed the issue by replacing any corrupted version).

 At any rate I'm going to close this as your issue isn't happening anymore
 and it doesn't look like there is a way to get any further debug
 information.
