Comment:

 Should I file a bug with GTK+ then? Personally the ability to allow the
 buddy list to be resized as big and small as desired is very important I
 was very pleased when that was allowed again. As I said the buddy list is
 just to wide for the way I use it. Thanks for the explanation.
