 You are certainly welcome to do so but I wouldn't expect much sympathy or
 much in the way of a positive response from them about this either. We are
 explicitely going against what GTK+ sets up by default, they very well may
 consider this an "unsupported configuration" or some-such. But I'm not on
 the GTK+ team so I don't know.
