 You can use Pidgin with !GoogleTalk accounts that use a Google e-mail
 address, but accounts that use a non-Google e-mail address have a JID that
 is actually <someterriblenumber>@talk.google.com. Using the latter kind of
 account with Pidgin is not possible because the Google servers don't seem
 to allow this, even when the account's real JID is used.

 If and when trac allows changing the resolution of a closed ticket, the
 resolution of this ticket should be changed to "invalid".
