 Yesterday I disabled the XMPP account (connects through corporate proxy to
 external server) before leaving work.  As usual, the connection to the
 corporate network timed out last night, but Pidgin didn't crash.  I'll
 continue doing this to see if it's reproducible, but maybe the issue is
 the lost connection with a proxy server?
