 More data:

 I built atk and added a debug line to see exactly what the failing value
 of index was. Turns out it's 3. G_N_ELEMENTS (wrap_mode_offsets) is also
 3.

 Because atk_text_attribute_get_value has a bunch of similar assertions, I
 tried commenting the WRAP_MODE one out to see if things would fail with
 other attributes; they don't. Everything works just fine with that
 assertion out of the picture.
