 This shouldn't need to be done for each protocol, that information is
 already marked on the buddy (that's how the emblem is shown in the first
 place). So, it would make sense for pidgin to show that information in the
 tooltip already (possibly with the emblem icon next to it, or at least
 next to the protocol icon).

 I still think if it is possible the icon in the buddy list entry itself
 should have a descriptive tooltip, but with the information in the general
 tooltip that will certainly matter less.
