 I have just upgraded to 2.6.1 via the Ubuntu pidgin-developers PPA and I
 see pidgin now using NTLM authentication in addition to Basic.  Very nice.

 Or would be if it worked.  Seems my squid3 proxy, which accepts NTLM just
 peachy from firefox is refusing (403) connections from pidgin.

 Ideas on how to debug this and/or at least disable NTLM until the issue
 can be corrected?
