 libpurple saves "last_seen" timestamp for each buddy that signs off. While
 the feature may be nice, not everyone might want one. Having a few dozens
 of buddies may lead to an overzealous ~/.purple/blist.xml rewriting (even
 every minute), possibly making hdd spin-up needlessly.

 How about making this an optional feature that can be enabled/disabled in
 the config?
