 I loaded up Pidgin today, and when I came back to the computer, I got the
 Visual Studio JIT stating that an unhandled exception occurred in
 pidgin.exe. Since there are no debugging symbols in there (unless I
 compile the whole thing myself) I couldn't exactly see where the problem
 occurs, but it's probably a nullpointer since the program is trying to
 read from 0x00000000. I then got 2.6.1, which gave exactly the same
 problem. I killed the .purple directory, and reinstalled Pidgin, and it
 still gave me the same problem.

 I then got the debug version, and the RPT is included showing problems
 with strlen.
