#10974: Pidgin 2.6.4: An unhandled Win32 exception

Comment(by rekabis):
About the passwords: confirmed. I removed the accounts in the accounts.xml
file one by one, re-introduced them afterwards, and have discovered one
account in particular that is farking up my copy of Pidgin.
I have changed the common characters, but the password (in terms of non-
ascii characters) goes something like this:
3æÈñ$
It appears that UTF-8 support for this latest version appears to be a mite
bit buggered where the passwords are concerned. This password worked with
several previous "upgrades" of Pidgin without fail; why fail now? The
account in question is not vital, but it would be nice to make use of it
without having to resort to a standard ascii-based password (seeing as
accounts made for this protocol are so easily hijacked). Being able to use
a password with UTF-8 characters would ensure that my account on the
protocol's servers remains difficult to hijack.
