 I have an account on jabber.org. I added myself to roster. When I noticed
 that status of this new buddy is always offline, I removed it from contact
 list. It was really removed from roster as I can see in Gajim. Now buddy
 appears in "Buddies" group and I can not delete it (when I do "Remove"
 nothing happens). I can delete blist.xml and this buddy will disappear,
 but then I will lose merged contacts.

 P.S. I do love Pidgin, but blist is worst thing in it. Keeping full copy
 of server-side contact list for Jabber and ICQ brings a LOTS of bugs to
 me. I often _have to_ delete it manually
