 I'm having big trouble with MSN in Adium on OSX 10.5.6. I logged a ticket
 over there--they seem to think the issue lies with libpurple. There is a
 backtrace and debug log over there.

 BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE
 I just installed Pidgin 2.54 on the same system on XP SP3 running under
 VMWare Fusion 2. It also crashes shortly after logging on to MSN, with a
 similar error. See the attached RPT.
