Comment:

 What is the request here exactly? How does an aim:gowway URI make sense?
 Where would you want to be able to have such a URI so that you can click
 it to go away? The purple-remote script has a setstatus command which can
 be used to tell pidgin to change status, if that is the desire (purple-
 remote requires DBus support).
