 Searching doesn't check collapsed groups because that's how GTK+ tree
 search works given the way we handle the entries in collapsed groups. If
 someone wanted to try to find a way to make this work better we would
 almost certainly welcome the patch. Additionally, the Buddies->New Instant
 Message dialog supports completion of buddy names based on usernamd and
 alias, this can be used as a simple search tool if the goal is simply to
 IM the person.
