 Same here. 2.5.4 on XP and Vista. I think the last time I saw a working
 custom MSN smiley in Pidgin was around 2.5.2, and even then it had about a
 50/50 success rate. When they stopped working completely, I wasn't sure if
 it was a new bug or an old bug aggravated by a server side change. I
 didn't bother reporting at the time because I assumed it was a well known
 problem.
