 That debug log is of yet another different connection attempt and error.

 To summarize:

 Your first debug log indicated a GnuTLS handhake error and a connection
 failure.

 Your second debug log did not have the GnuTLS handhake error and was
 incomplete. As of the last line in the log your connection appeared to be
 working correctly. (You claimed it did not finish correctly but have not
 shown
 a log that indicates that).

 Your third debug log is using different account parameters (namely you are
 now
 trying port 5223 instead of the previous usage of 5222) and is showing the
 server closing the connection on you (which it is doing because you are
 not
 telling pidgin to use an Old Style SSL connection).

 So, once again, I am going to ask you for the *complete* debug log output
 of a
 failed connection to Google Talk. Before you get this however make sure
 you
 set your port setting back to 5222, remove any Connect Server you may have
 (since you seemed to indicate that you got SRV records working), and do
 NOT
 have 'Use Old Style SSL' checked.
