 I agree with you and that's exactly what I thought yesterday.
 This was the reason for installing Kopete on my system.
 It is weird because kopete had no problems connecting to all 3 networks.
 I just rebooted my pc and logged in to my Windows partition and pidgin is
 able to
 connect all 3 networks with out any problem and it took not more than a
 minute.
