 First things first, if you right-click the taskbar entry for the Buddy
 List window, select Move, and press an arrow key you will be able to move
 the Buddy List window (with both the arrow keys and the mouse) without
 having needed the titlebar. The same works with alt-space -> Move.

 pidgin should be remembering the location of the Buddy List window between
 being minimized to the taskbar, hidden to the tray icon, and over
 restarts. It may have issues doing that if you use the window maximized
 however. It may also get confused if you change resolution, change
 multiple monitor layouts, etc.

 Are you indicating that pidgin doesn't remember the corrected buddy list
 window location over restarts of pidgin?
