 You are right, but looks like the problem/solution is not related (only)
 to he image size.

 Test Case 1[[BR]]
 User 1 - Pidgin[[BR]]
 User 2 - YM8

 User 1 changes the image (any reasonable size, from accounts management
 window)[[BR]]
 User 2 sees only black image (even after relogin)

 Test Case 2[[BR]]
 User 1 - Pidgin[[BR]]
 User 2 - Pidgin

 User 1 changes the image (any reasonable size, from accounts management
 window)[[BR]]
 User 2 sees the old image[[BR]]
 User 2 logout/login[[BR]]
 User 2 the correct image is displayed[[BR]]


 Test Case 3[[BR]]
 User 1 - Pidgin[[BR]]
 User 2 - YM9

 User 1 changes the image (any reasonable size, from accounts management
 window)[[BR]]
 User 2 sees the old image (sometimes the image disappears from the contact
 list while the chat window still displays the old image)[[BR]]
 User 2 logout/login[[BR]]
 User 2 the correct image is displayed

 Test Case 4[[BR]]
 Use 96x96   png image - the above behaviour occure[[BR]]
 Use 192x192 png image - the above behaviour occure[[BR]]
 Use outrageous big image (6000x5000) - old image is displayed

 Odd fact: [[BR]]
 Some times, after changing the image (no matter the image size), any text
 message sent to by User1 to User2, is lost. The messages are reaching
 User2 only after User2 sends some message, or after User2 relogins.

 Conclusions:[[BR]]
 1 - Since changing the image from YM8/9 is seen immediately by other users
 (no matter the client they use), it looks like Pidgin is not setting the
 image properly on the Yahoo servers. Look like YM is sending some refresh
 message after it sets the image (which Pidgin is not).[[BR]]
 2 - The lost messages might not be related to this bug, but is odd how the
 problem appears after changing images.
