 Ticket #6570 (closed enhancement: worksforme) is similar to what I ask for
 - I just don't know if I can/how to reopen an old ticket.

 The resolution given there is IMO a bit stinky. I mean, you can use the
 workaround described there (define a new status, and set individual
 different stati for each account). But this workaround has at least two
 severe drawbacks: once you close the dialog where you configured the new
 status you don't get to see what status you have on each account, and in
 order to be able to use different statuses on each account you would need
 to configure (the number of accounts) times (the number of different
 statuses you want to use) different custom statuses, and also remember
 what status for each account corresponds to what custom status. Which is
 plain stupid to expect from a user.
