have to manually break into pidgin (by hitting ctrl-c in gdb when pidgin
is 'frozen') before you can get the backtrace information. Ideally you
would do that a few times during the freeze so we can get a good sampling
of what is actually going on (as you may not hit the right moment the
first time).

Nodoka is my GTK+ theme. I run compiz all the time. I'm running GNOME. The
gconf command you gave me doesn't take a little while to run.
I'll try to post GDB's output as soon as possible.
