 I like to use the tray icon only when there are new mesages: this is a
 good option that pidgin has.

 But when using this option, if I click X to close the main pidgin window
 it will close itself without confirmation. this is not good, since X when
 you always have the tray icon enabled does not quit pidgin, so it can
 happen that I close pidgin without really noticing it.
