 After the yahoo authentication debacle I followed the instruction on the
 pidgin site to upgrade to the latest version for Ubuntu (Jaunty).  I am
 still unable to connect to yahoo.  Here are the messages from running
 pidgin in debug mode

 After that it just sits there and never connects.  I have turned off all
 my plugins just in case and that didn't help.  I tried reinstalling the
 libpurple thing too.  It is currently at version "libpurple 2.5.4".  I
 have also tried scs.msg.yahoo.com with no luck.

 Sorry if this is a duplicate ticket but I seem to be the only person
 running 2.5.8 who still cant connect
