Comment:

 Here is the thing weird. I used 'debuginfo-install pidgin' the went 'gdb
 pidgin', it worked this time. And something more weird was I have to use
 'Terminal' then input 'pidgin' to start the program. If I click the
 'Application->internet->pigdin' entry, it crashed again just like before.
