Comment:

 I installed the new version of pidgin and it worked. The old version some
 how got corrupted. My initial problem was that when I try to enable my
 account in pidgin, it would not let me check the check box. I would check
 it and pidgin would just uncheck it with no message. Would be nice if
 pidgin said "Your password is wrong..". Sometime after that it got
 corrupted. Long story short, I installed the new version of pidgin and had
 my password reset thoroughout the system. Just to be safe, I went into the
 office and did a physical hard wire hookup to the network while
 implementing my password reset - as it did not seem to be populating thru
 the entire system w-o physically hooking up.
