 I can confirm this. The pidgin icon looks blurry and pixelated when used
 with docks, GNOME-Do, AWN, etc.

 The solution is to simply add a /scalable/apps folder with the 48px
 pidgin.svg in addition to the 48px bitmap in /48x48/apps as stated above.

 It should be really simple to fix and it would ensure the Pidgin branding
 is always sharp and clear for users.
