Comment:

 This should be fixed by the release of Pidgin 2.6.0. The XMPP prpl will
 not generate the <presence/> stanzas for MUCs until after the initial
 presence to the server.

 If anyone can reproduce the issue with Pidgin 2.6.0 when it is released,
 please comment here and someone will re-open the ticket.
