 spy++ wont help here. it shows windows messages and data.[[BR]]
 i looked up NLA-notification in MSDN. i guess you use WSALookupService...
 as an overlapped operation.[[BR]]
 could it have something to do with the "local only" connection-state
 ?[[BR]]
 its because i dont use the vista-wlan stuff but a connection tool provided
 by the wlan-stick manufacturer. NLA takes some time before it gets
 it.[[BR]]
 oh my, that wlan and nla stuff is really bad. was not better on XP.
