Let me see... I meant that if I change the Nickname on Pidgin, it doesn't
change the Nickname part of the Gmail Contact, it changes the "Full Name"
instead, which is not convenient for me because I can not tell for sure
which one of them is the one I've renamed.

Let's put it on an example I have 2 friends with the same first name, but
different last name, if they are on a different Group on Pidgin, it
doesn't bother me to use their first name as nickname (even if they are
repeated) but then, when I lookup for one of them on the Gmail Contacts,
they have lost their last name so I'm not sure which one of them is the
one I was trying to send an email.

If their nickname was the one updated on my Gmail Contacts, the Full Name
would still hold their last name and so I would be able to difference them
 normally.

Gmail contacts have Full Name and Nickname separated, so, why changing the
Nickname for gtalk clients on Pidgin, changes the Full Name, instead of
the Nickname on the online Gmail Contact ?
