 Got the problem! This bug (only?) affects the nautilus plugin.

 Pidgin seems to have crashed/being killed while sending some files via
 nautilus-send-to. Therefore ~/.gnome2/nautilus-sendto/spool is not empty
 and pidgin tries to resend (or just open?) the files given in that
 directory. But these files do not longer exist!
 After deleting the files in ~/.gnome2/nautilus-sendto/spool pidgin didn't
 crash again.
