Comment:

 You have to be patient while using Valgrind; it's absymally slow and
 unresponsive. Please upgrade to 2.5.8 before further attempts.

 I do note that you have a number of errors occurring in the festival
 plugin. Try disabling that and seeing if your freezes go away.
