Comment:

 If you save a status you save everything about it, so having something
 else apply when you re-select that status would be beyond confusing.

 If you are suggesting that you be able to make changes to the saved status
 when you change your status after having used the saved status, consider
 how you would ever switch to a different saved status, or a non-saved
 status if all changes were automatically saved.

 If I've missed your point, I apologize, please try to explain again.
