 Thank you, I understand now the difference but why can't it simply be how
 I "left" it when last making a Saved Status?

 Having Saved Status messages is great, unique I believe in the world of IM
 but shouldn't I have a choice as to how it works, meaning that if a status
 is already set and working then changing it will obviously be refelected
 in any future status change thereon and this is all well and good but not
 if I don't already have a status message in effect.

 Not very helpful the current implementation but overall quite a stable
 product with features simply not available in other applications.
