 sorry for the delay.
 1. I am not using it as musictracker
 2. I have kept custom status message in pidgin. I don't see any change at
 my end. But, my friend who uses a regular gtalk messenger keeps on getting
 the same status every 5-10 mins. He also receives my status from the
 'gmail online chat' as status update also.
 This is quite irritating for him.
