 Hi,

 I have been using Miranda IM for a while and I got quite used to the
 History++ Plugin of Miranda. Especially, since it allowed you to easily
 copy various chat histories with one user. In Pidgin this is rather
 complicated or hard to do as you have to go through every item in the
 history and then copy its text. Especially, since a new item is already
 created once you close the Message window, it sometimes is a bit
 problematic to copy complete conversations which I do quite frequently.

 The second one should have even more features.

Comment:

 I know that this is the reason why I have more entries but that is not the
 point. I just want a possibility to easily view them all at once and
 especially copy parts over them. Even if I don't close the window often, I
 sometimes copy bits from various days together which is pretty annoying
 the way it currently is.
 It shouldn't be so hard to merge them for display purpose together, should
 it?
 For instance you might should be able to use SHIFT or STRG to select more
 than just one entry and maybe even give a rightclick menu to the entries
 themselves and there give the option COPY so that you can copy the whole
 entry/entries at once).
 And then it would be nice if the text inside those entries would be
 grouped per user/typped as items.
 As said: Just look at the history++ plugin of Miranda IM.

 Best would be if you take a look at Miranda and the history++ plugin.
