 Did some more debugging. I have this little app that uses libpurple to
 write IM to yahoo from the command-line. I turned on debug and captured
 the results. The gist of it is that when I can connect (the first try) I
 am talking to IP 66.196.124.67, however, the second time I get connected
 to IP 76.13.15.37 and then things fail!
