 i'd like to add, that thing about other clients...
 tell me honestly, which of this feature do you consider as glitzy:
 - when user receive msg and client is closed (or crushed) without reading
 this new msg, after running client again, there is no chance in fact to
 find out who actually wrote you (no sign of having new incomming msg)
 - automatic hiding main pidgin window after few seconds (optional value)

 Believe me, I can go like this forever... These are realy simple and basic
 features which You purposely do not want to add to pidgin, even if you
 know other clients can do it. Knowing this makes me sad. But this is not
 only pidgin's case. I have lots of troubles with anothers softs in compare
 to windows applications.

 Still, You have my admiration doing this for free.
