 Is the error suggesting that the member does not exist on the server at
 all? Because they show up fine in WLM2009, and I've definitely chatted
 with them before.

 I tried deleting blist.xml to see how things would go. They do indeed no
 longer show up as blocked. However, when hovering over their names to see
 their status, where it lists things like "Has You" and "Blocked", the same
 three contacts are showing up as "Blocked: Yes". I'm assuming this refers
 to whether or not they have blocked you, since I'm not seeing the blocked
 icon next to these users. However, I can see and still chat with them in
 WLM.
