 For the sake of one-shot backups, I would like to redefine where the
 .purple folder will live.

 Being able to redefine the location of the virtual "desktop" folder in
 windows has made backups simpler and quicker, as my "desktop" folder
 points to a folder under "my documents" which in turn is outside C:\

 This has already been asked for, but never for this reason. I imagine this
 feature would help many. *thanks*
