 Hi,

 Any updates on this?

 To datallah, I don't think this is a bug with FreeBSD's package
 management, other packages install just fine. I think its the way the
 install scripts are initiating the pkg_create/pkg_add process that's
 causing the problem.

 Nearly all programs I compile don't invoke the pkg management process when
 a "gmake install" is issued. Pidgin does though.
