 Presumably you are having this trouble on MSN? Are you using pidgin from
 more than one location? Are you using other third-party clients as well as
 pidgin? If you are in fact still using pidgin 2.5.2 you should upgrade to
 2.5.5 and see if that helps (a number of blist sync issues were fixed in
 2.5.5 I believe, though they generally were consistency errors not this
 sort of problem).

 Also, what specifically happens when you say "it never accepts" the
 deletions? Do the budies come back immediately? Do you get a synch error
 dialog at some later date? Do they simply come back at some later date?
