 >If you are in fact still using pidgin 2.5.2 you should upgrade to 2.5.5
 and see if that helps (a number of blist sync issues were fixed in 2.5.5 I
 believe, though they generally were consistency errors not this sort of
 problem).
 The same sync issues could affect removing buddies as well. But if that
